About Caroline

Caroline Heffernan is an actor, singer, dancer and gymnast. Caroline hails from Chicago but is currently based in Los Angeles, where she is a student at UCLA majoring in Business Economics. Her credits include leading roles in world premieres by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwrights Tracy Letts and David Rabe: playing Young Mary Page in Mary Page Marlowe, Frannie in Good for Otto and Carlin in the world premiere, Our Very Own Carlin McCullough, written by actress Amanda Peet at the Geffen Playhouse in LA. 

Other roles include "Scout" Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), the title role in Annie in Annie (Paramount), Young Kim in Showboat (Chicago Lyric Opera) and featured and leading roles in the regional Tony Award-Winning theaters Lookingglass Theater Company, Goodman Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Writers Theater. 

Her television and film credits include the leading role of Teen Jesse in Lifetime Movie Channel’s My Daughter was Stolen, Ariel Green in NBC's Chicago Med (guest star), and Ella on an episode of NBC's
Chicago Fire. She played a tourist in the Gerard Butler film
A Family Man- Headhunter’s Calling and leading roles in several award winning short films. 


Caroline is currently a NCAA Pac -12 Conference Cheerleader for UCLA, an award winning former USAG gymnast and high school cheerleader (flyer), and a Commended National Merit Scholar.

​She studies voice with Roberta Duchak, tap dance with Matt Crowle, and piano with Margaret James. Caroline plays a variety of sports, is an avid sports enthusiast and a world traveler.  She is the youngest of four children in an extended family of professional performers.
